Davis Prepares For Snowball Derby Weekend
Pro Late Model Tune-Up in Pensacola
The WhatABurger Night of Champions at Five
Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida served as
one final tune-up for Pro Late Model teams
before the coveted Snowflake 100, which
highlights the Saturday night portion of the 46th
annual Snowball Derby Weekend at the 1/2
mile. For 14-year-old Spencer Davis, it was a
100-lap test and tune session to prepare for Snowball Weekend.

After qualifying 15th out of an impressive 32 car field, Davis' 'test session' unfortunately only last
for 38 laps as he was involved in a massive 10-car pile-up in turn three. The Dawsonville, Georgia driver had nowhere to go as he was checking up and the result was a torn up racecar.

"We had a good car, just got hooked head on into the wall. Not too pleased as to how how it happened but that's racing." The Peach State teenager offered.

"Not the way to end the night. I like to thank the team for a good car. We were just riding, saving my stuff and got turned head on the wall. I just don't understand why you race that hard that early." He asked.

The next race on the 2013 schedule is on Saturday, October 5th as the PASS Series is at Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, South Carolina for the Wildcat 150.

Going into Dillon, Davis is third in points behind Jay Fogelman and reigning champion, Kyle Grissom.
