Spencer Davis Wins Truck Feature at Mobile

Getting a big win before a big race can go a long way and Spencer Davis hopes that's the case.  Davis won the Pro Truck feature at Mobile International Speedway (AL) on Saturday night last week and will take the momentum to the big World Crown 300 on July 4th.

"We won by four or five truck lengths which was a pretty good feeling," said Davis.  "We qualified third, but come to find out the driver who set fast time and actually broke the track record was put to the back.  That helped us and it was my first time out there at Mobile.  It's a lot faster than New Smyrna and other places."

Davis will be hustling to get his Super Late Model done in time for the World Crown 300 at Gresham Motorsports Park (GA) on July 4th.  The extra distance race will be the biggest event yet for Davis.

"We have to get the car done to go and race the World Crown," said Davis.  "Hopefully we can run some more Super races and Pro races this season and still run the truck as well.  We would like to race all three, but it's hard to do the Truck and Late Models."
