Davis Takes 29 Truck to Victory Lane at Huntsville
Next Up is a Doubleheader at Pensacola and Montgomery
Spencer Davis took his #29 Truck to Huntsville Speedway in Huntsville, Alabama and brought the winner’s trophy back him to Georgia with him.  The up-and-coming driver took the lead on lap 15 of the 35-lap event and never looked back.  Not even a green, white, checkered finish could shake the hold he had on the lead of the event.

“It was really great and a lot of fun,” said Davis.  “I led about 20 of the 35 laps and had a half-track lead when the green, white, checkered came out.  Then I just held on for the rest and we were able to bring home the trophy.  It was really fun and I really like Huntsville.  It was great we got to win in their season opener.  It was a good way to start off this year.”

With a win in his rear-view mirror, Davis will now turn his focus to a different vehicle.  Davis will step into his #29 Pro Late Model this weekend and head to Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida on Friday night for their 100-lap PLM feature followed by the PLM feature at Montgomery Motor Speedway in Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday.

“Oh yeah I’m excited,” said Davis.  “I like Pensacola and I haven’t been to Montgomery yet in the Pro Late Model, but I won there in the Super Truck.  It was my first race ever in a truck there so hopefully we’ll be good there.  Hopefully we’ll be able to bring home two more wins this weekend.”

Davis will take on the Five Flags Speedway half-mile on Friday night, March 30 and the Montgomery Motor Speedway half-mile on Saturday, March 31st.
